“…As I Was In The Prime Of My Days…”

“As I was in the prime of my days, When the friendship and counsel of God were over my tent,” Job 29:4 (AMP)

Today as we go further in the book of Job, we come to Job’s speaking of what the scripture shares as his glorious past, today’s verse says, “As I was in the prime of my days, When the friendship and counsel of God were over my tent.”

Today as we come into a moment of prayer, the Lord through His word reminds us that He affords us the prime of our days, He affords us opportunity to remember all that He has done, and remember all that He is in our lives and in our family’s lives, and in our communities. Today as we take a moment in our remembering, we lean into the fullness of God and the fullness of the things of God, as God’s word declare, As I was in the prime of my days!

“…If It Pleases The King…”

“If it pleases the king, let a royal command be issued by him and let it be written in the laws of the Persians and Medes so that it cannot be repealed or modified, that Vashti is no longer to come before King Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal position to another who is better and more worthy than she.” Esther‬ ‭1‬:‭19‬ ‭(AMP‬‬)

Today we open the book of Esther and it starts with the story of Queen Vashti, it tells us, “If it pleases the king, let a royal command be issued by him and let it be written in the laws of the Persians and Medes so that it cannot be repealed or modified, that Vashti is no longer to come before King Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal position to another who is better and more worthy than she.”

Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we are reminded that everyone has their place and it is the position that man gives you, is the position that man can take away. It is important to remember that only our place in Jesus Christ is eternal and everlasting, is was sealed through the shedding of His blood on Calvary, as God’s word share, If it pleases the King!
